Gordon Egan

Gordon Egan's practice emphasizes business and real estate sales, corporate mergers and various other business transactions including the formation and operation of entities for real estate and business ventures, such as limited liability companies, corporations and various forms of partnership. Gordon represents both debtors and lenders in loan workout agreements and business reorganizations.

He has formed and counseled a variety of Non-Profit entities throughout the Sacramento region. Gordon has represented several savings and loans with regard to both real estate investments and foreclosed property throughout the western United States. As in- house counsel to one of Sacramento's largest commercial landlords and developers, he served as a foreclosure trustee on major commercial real estate foreclosures and litigated commercial foreclosures on deeds of trust, Mello-Roos bonds and 1915 bonds. Gordon provides integrated business counseling to businesses and real estate owners, including business succession planning and preparing living trusts and wills. He is frequent speaker at continuing education seminars for attorneys and available to speak on the subject of California's documentary transfer tax, commercial foreclosure and commercial evictions.
